India Mission

2010 will begin the third year the church of our Lord at Barrackville has been involved in the oversight of the work in India. This particular work is headed up by Ron Clayton and his wife Karen along with several other full time workers, Jerris Bullard, Kyle Clayton, Robert Hall, Ben Renegar and Jerry Edwards.

We would encourage any visitors to this site to look at the area designated Works being done in India to become better acquainted with the various works that are a part of this great effort. It is our firm conviction that this is one of the greatest mission works going on in the world today and we encourage you to learn more about it.

Over the past two years thousands have been led to Christ through the efforts of this team. The people of India continue to be extremely receptive to the message of Christ and we consider it a great privilege to be involved in doing all we can to get that message to the billions of lost souls that live in this wonderful country. India is second only to China with regards to population and many believe in the next few years may surpass them. While many have obeyed the saving gospel of Christ, at last count, more than 75,000 souls were added daily to the population, so we have simply scratched the surface.

As with any work of this size, and any work that is accomplishing all the good this work accomplishes, there are always questions, so we invite you to ask any questions you may have and we will do our best to give you an honest answer as to what is being done. We believe in this work and we believe in the people who are involved.

One of the elders at Barrackville, Steve Snider, has been making at least one trip a year to India since 1991 to be involved directly in the work and to visit various areas of the works. He is available to make reports on the work or attempt to answer any questions you might have about the work.

If you are looking for a good mission work to support, either as an individual or a congregation, we encourage you to think seriously about the work in India. The Indian people are among the most religious people in the world and there is probably nowhere else in the world at this time where the gospel is having a greater impact.
